Terms of Service

1. Accounts

You create an account via Discord OAuth. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Discord account secure. Each account receives a unique Account ID used to identify you in tournament requests, rosters, and support matters.

2. Tournament Participation

Registering a team or joining a tournament through Cartanians means you agree to that tournament's specific rules, published on its page, in addition to these general terms. Staff review every join request manually — submitting a request does not guarantee entry.

3. Fair Play

Smurfing, account sharing, match-fixing, harassment of other players or staff, and circumventing bans are all grounds for suspension or removal from the platform and from active tournaments, at staff's discretion.

4. Content You Submit

Team names, logos, and profile information you upload must be yours to use and must not be offensive, infringing, or impersonating another person or organization. Staff may remove content that violates this.

5. Account Actions

Staff and admins may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms or a tournament's rules. Admin actions are logged for accountability. Decisions on disputes, results, and eligibility made by staff are final.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated as Cartanians grows. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
