What We Collect

When you sign in with Discord, we receive and store:

• Your Discord ID, username, and avatar
• Your email address, if Discord shares it with us
• Information you add yourself: in-game name, rank, team details

We don't see or store your Discord password — authentication happens entirely through Discord's own OAuth system.

How We Use It

Your account data identifies you across tournament registrations, team rosters, and support requests via your Account ID. Tournament hosts and admins use submitted join-request details (including any payment proof reference you provide) to verify tournament entries.

Images You Upload

Team logos, tournament banners, and similar images are stored via Cloudinary, a third-party image hosting service. Uploaded images are validated for file type and size before storage.

Cookies & Advertising

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. This site also displays ads via Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ones based on your browsing activity. You can control ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings. See Google's own policy for details on how it uses this data.

Moderation Activity Logging

Actions tournament hosts and admins take on the platform (approving requests, banning accounts, editing tournaments, and resolving disputes) are logged internally for accountability. Host activity logs are only visible to Cartanians staff.

Data Sharing

We don't sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the third-party services this platform runs on: Discord (for authentication), Cloudinary (for images), and Google AdSense (for the ads that support this site, as described above).

Your Data, Your Choices

To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, reach out in the Cartanians Discord. Deleting your account removes your profile, but tournament and match records tied to your team may be retained for competitive record-keeping.
